What is C-clip used for?
Circlips are small, semi-flexible metal rings. They are a type of fastener and are also known as C-clips, Seeger rings, snap rings or Jesus clips. They're most commonly used in machine grooves, where their key job is to hold dowel pins securely in place.
How do you remove C-clip from turntable?
They look like needle nose pliers with changeable sticks at the end. They fit in the holes and you can open the pliers and spread the clip enough to lift it off. Most of the time I just use one flat screwdriver. Force it in the right side next to the center post.

Push up and apply steady, moderate pressure. Once your tool is aligned with the E-clip, simply push the tool to remove it from its position. Be careful not to apply too much pressure or the E-Clip may fly! Keep your E-clip in a dry place until the next time you use it.
